Chapter 21 - Hocus Pocus... It's All In Your Focus!

Today's Empowering Quote:

"Objects we ardently pursue bring little happiness when gained; most of our pleasures come from unexpected sources."
--Herbert Spencer

Today's Empowering Question:

"What can I notice right now that makes me smile?"

Today's Fast Session:

I probably get more questions about the plain desire to be happy than anything else.  Most people are miserable, generally.

And yes, it's horrible, but also avoidable.

I know... I was one of the biggest perpetrators of stinkin' thinkin' you've ever met.  But that simple,...

Chapter 20 - What Goals Really Do

"Today's Empowering Quote:

"Goals give you more than a reason to get up in the morning; they are an incentive to keep you going all day.  Goals tend to tap the deeper resources and draw the best out of life."
- Harvey Mackay

Today's Empowering Question:

What have I done for the last hour?  What do I plan on doing this next hour?  Why?

Today's Fast Session:

My dad used to tell me stories about the day every year that the auto manufacturers introduced their new line of cars and trucks.

That day, people would flock to the dealerships.  It looked like the county fair at the local car lots.  Dealers sold more cars that day than the whole month before.

There wasn't anything like that excitement, I've been told.

Today,...

The was not a dry eye in the room - by Mike Brescia

"Hello my friend:
Last week a letter came in from a young UK woman.  She
asked her mother to email us about her remarkable
experiences with Conquering Social Anxiety Now.  The story
was absolutely inspiring.

But even more incredible was her daughter's experience
using Supreme Confidence Now in helping her overcome many
years of living with the deadly disorder, Anorexia Nervosa.
I read both of these stories to a room full of people and
by the end, there were no dry eyes in the room, including
mine.

If, up till today, you have doubted that you can use an
accelerated learning program to learn and embed new ways of
thinking, feeling and acting, this should shake that false
belief.

Here are both their stories:

Chapter 19 - Creating Your Victory Log

Today's Empowering Quote:

"Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success.  A whole clear, glorious life lies before you.  Achieve!  Achieve!"
--Andrew Carnegie

Today's Fast Session:
Even though you don't want to live in the past, it can be an invaluable tool to you.

Throughout our lives, every single one of us have had times where we did something great, or at least really good... someone gave us an approving glance, a promotion, a new client.

Perhaps we...

Chapter 18 - Change Your View, Change Your Life

Today's Empowering Quote:

"Should one look through a red glass at a while lily, he would seem to see a red lily. But there would be no red lily.  So it is with humanity's problems.  They consist of false mental pictures."
--M.D. Garbrick

Today's Empowering Question:
"Is this problem a problem, or am I looking at it the wrong way?  Is it something better?"

Today's Fast Session:

Ya know, it's all in how you look at it.

How many people out there are sick of hearing that?

Are you usually the one saying it to people?

Most all "problems" you experience lie in how you look at things.  It makes the difference in everything you do.

Everything.

You know, when I was growing up and even well into adulthood, I was rarely happy about anything for long.  It would never last.  I always wished I were with a different group of people...

Today's Empowering Question:
What can I do today that I have been dreaming about for a long time?

Today's Fast Session:

You know them instantly when you meet them.

You want to be near them.

You want to be like them.

You know the type...

Always smiling. Hard worker. Optimistic. Assured.

And they win... a lot.

Carmelo Anthony, only...

Chapter 16 - "Live Your Purpose Everyday!"

"Today's Empowering Quote:

"Success is the progressive realization of a worthy ideal."
--Earl Nightingale

Today's Empowering Question:

"How did I get so lucky to be blessed with another day to live my life's purpose?"

Today's Fast Session:

You know, it's ridiculous.

I watch NBA basketball VERY infrequently, because it's clear that these highly paid babies have no idea what success is.  They think it's getting a big contract.  They hear the crowd roar when they hit a basket and they think that's success.  The next day, this multi-millionaire might pout and score only 3 points.

So, feeling full of themselves like they are some kind of gods, they yell at the coaches and they don't listen.  They yell at the referees.  Fight with the fans if someone says something they don't like.

They should all watch Michael Jordan highlight footage if they want to see what success is.  Day after day, year after year, he performed at a level no one else could have demanded of anyone.

He held himself...

Today's Empowering Quote:

Today's Empowering Question:

"Who can I make smile right now?"

Today's Fast Session:

A couple days ago, I called my wife at work.  One of her co-workers answered the phone. Now, I like to clown around...a lot.

Do you remember those guys who did the Budweiser commercials that asked each other, "Wazzuuup?" Well,...

Chapter 13 - Don't Worry...Just Smile

Today's Empowering Quote:

"Good humor is tonic for the mind and body.  It is the best antidote for anxiety and depression. It is a business asset.  It attracts and keeps friends.  It lightens human burdens.  It is the direct route to serenity and contentment."
--Grenville Kleiser

Today's Empowering Question:

"What tense situation can I look back on and laugh about?"

Today's Fast Session:

"In continuing our previous discussion on humor, how it can help us, and what the lack of it can do, today's question is a terrific clue about the value of humor.
In asking it of yourself, you HAVE to get an answer.  You'll find an answer in a memory of something that really got your furnace hot.  When you think about it now, it not only doesn't get you mad but it probably seems funny or at least neutral.

We often let our emotions control us, thinking the worst without pausing first...

Shocking Interview With A Cancer Patient

The following shocking interview with a cancer patient done by Sherry Brescia, I had to share this with you.
I bet you that you will be shocked as well…
Here’s Sherry Brescia:

I recently interviewed a young lady (Cindy) who had been treated
for cancer.
Thankfully she's doing well and all her tests over the last 9 months report her to be cancer-free.
So I took the opportunity to ask some probing questions about her diagnosis and treatment.
And her answers shocked me.
Here's why:

Step #5 To Absolutely Guarantee Success - Constantly Keep Your Eye On The Ball!

Just having a big Why is not enough. You have to be connected to all the benefits of reaching your goal. It is absolutely critical that you have a purpose that will not just excite you but also gets you to constantly think about to stay inspired.

Most people don't succeed because they don't keep the benefits of reaching their goal in their minds so they quickly get tempted to give up, even if it is only for short while.

Cool Example:
  • I'm too stressed so I'll rather watch movies today so that I can feel better
  • January is a tough month, nothing wrong with having a little fun to help take my off things
  • I can't do this alone, I better wait until I can get some help
  • There is no more money to invest, I might as well spoil myself with that shoes I wanted
  • No one wants to give me a job, better I go sleep this afternoon & try again tomorrow
  • I always get taken advantage of, it is better to wait until I can start making right decisions
  • I can't read so why bother... And there are so many more excuses a person can use to explain why they never succeeded in the first place.
Believe me its quite normal to make excuses, we learn that from a young age. Somehow we feel that it helps to protect us because we are scared, shy or even embarrassed, never even thinking that we are creating a very bad habit of explaining our success away. Once you start you can't stop...

Great Taste No Pain! by Sherry Brescia

A couple days ago, I told you that I'd be publishing a
review of Great Taste No Pain! by Sherry Brescia. That
caused quite a stir, so the wait is over.

Here is my complete review of Great Taste No Pain:

**********************
Quick Description
**********************

With more than 1 out of 3 adults in the US (70 million)
taking OTC or prescription pills for digestive disorders
and the pain associated with them, as a nation, we have
serious health problems. And we're spreading our problems
around the world.

What most people are frustrated with is that even if they
eat how most health professionals consider to be healthy,
a large percentage of people STILL experience digestive
problems. And so most people resort to drugs, surgery or
eating bland foods. Or they just continue to suffer.

#4 - Visualising Each & Every Step Of Your Success

We all to it every day, all day. Visualisation!

We visualise the end results even before it happens. It is sad however, because this why most of us dont get it right... reach a goal successfully. We fail even before we get started... because we see it, live it, smell it even before it happens... and most of the time it ends that way too.

To be successful at something you have to visualise the end result as a success.

You have to:

  • see it,
  • feel it
  • hear it
  • smell it
  • or even taste it...
  • live it, like you are already there.
Each successful step must play off in you mind as if it already took place...

"There is a clown in all of us!"

That is so true but sometimes we take life too serious... is it not! Try this*
Just sit there & smile for 60 seconds straight & don't do anything else, just smile...

Do you notice that the minute you start smiling you start thinking of good things. Common try it! Just smile for one minute.

How do you feel?

You don't have to fist feel great before you start smiling, it is the other way around, believe or not. When you smile you automatically feel good or great! If you don't believe it then see if you can feel awful while you got a smirk on your face... you can't do it, hey!

Now share that feeling. That feeling that you get, feeling great, why not share it with at least one person today. and one every day.

Not only you be doing something good for someone else but you will be feeling good inside too! A good state of mind is like bathing, something you must to every day, not every other day!

It starts with... Just a Smile :)

Knowing The Purpose of Your Goal - "The Big Why"

No purpose means no benefit to go after. No reason for you to get up in the morning. No real reason for you to feel motivated, to be driven, to do what ever it takes to succeed no matter what.

No Big Why.

A simple real-life example: Why do I live a healthy life?

Benefits:
  • Decrease the chances of having another stroke
  • Hardly ever get sick (so no medical bills or medicines)
  • Have energy and stamina to live a fuller life (work hard, play hard)
  • Maintain a healthy body & mind.
  • Feel good physically, emotionally and mentally
  • Because of good health & mental clarity I was able to start my own business
  • Able to handle the everyday stresses in life better
  • Able to give more because Im healthy
  • Happier because I can spend time with my kids laughing & playing
  • People, family and friend around me are inspired too & lend a helping hand towards my goals
  • Doing the things that I love and so much more...

If I fail, chances are that I dont want or need it bad enough. My passion for my purpose and its benefits are what keeps me motivated, it naturally keeps a fire lit under my butt because I know what it can cost me if I fail.

What it will cost me if I fail to live a healthy life:

How To Create The Self-Image Of Success?

The truth is what you believe it to be Just like that one thing that you are good at, that one thing that you have passion for, that one thing no matter what goes wrong, you will never go against it because it is build into you. And nothing or no one can let you go against it. Because it is part of you, your beliefs.

Your beliefs that when you do not do what is the norm; that what you are used to doing, you definitely know what the outcome would be like. But you also know what the benefits are for sticking to your believes.

Let illustrate this with something that we all are used to doing. That one belief that we all share. Please embrace me, I know that it is such simple stupid explanation but I thought it to be perfect to make a point.

Getting The Right Nutrition Daily!

Getting the right nutrition daily can reduce our risk of cancer, strokes, heart disease & illness. "Scientist has found some relationship between a lack of certain vitamins-A and C-and cancer. For example, diets low in vitamin A has been linked to cancers of the prostate gland, cervix, skin, bladder and colon." - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
There are more than 200 different types of cancer & in some cases causes are still not known. Because of land, air & water pollution and the way our foods are grown, genetically or chemically altered, we have no way of knowing how nutritious those foods really are unless we grow it ourselves. And now in this present day with our busy lifestyles it is almost impossible to grow our own fresh produce and look after it for optimal nutrition.

Being Grateful for Much!

One thing is for sure, although we are surrounded by bad things happening each & every day, also knowing that it is the world we are living in but even the stuff that challenge my family & I directly, I have to stay grateful for much. Not only because of knowing "What you think about expands" but also because of having so much more to be grateful for, things that many others don't even have.

Things like:
  • my health
  • my children
  • the ability to share
  • being able to work
  • eat & drink every day
  • having both arms, legs & feet
  • the ability to use my free time (believe me I got a lot of it) to help others
I know there are BIG influences on how people manage to live their lives today. Many being unhealthy or steering toward being obese, being unproductive and living with  sickness or disease. Living with fear & anxiousness about tomorrow or living in poverty, therefore ending up being unsuccessful & unhappy. The worst is trying to escape from these realities by over-eating, taking drugs, or drinking alcohol or other addictive habits like stealing to make up for the things that you don't have but in the end it only make matters worst.

Did you know? - "Cool Facts"

"Your eyes feed your mind and your mind feeds your heart"
&
"What you think about expands"

Tip - So if you want your heart to make the intelligent decision for you, you have to feed it the good stuff & stay totally focus on one purpose!

Remember, you are the captain of your own ship. You choose what you want to feed your mind with, your body with & your heart with; it is only you. So whatever you feed your mind with it will grow, whether positive or negative it works exactly the same way. When your heart is full of good stuff, so is your life!

Taking those few first steps!

In school we learn that mistakes are bad, and we are punished for making them. Yet, if you look at the way humans are designed to learn, we learn by making mistakes. We learn to walk by falling down. If we never fell down, we would never walk.
Robert T. Kiyosaki, Rich dad, Poor Dad

Definitely nothing wrong with making mistakes. That is what live teaches… you fall down & you get up, each time just a little stronger & wiser. Even if you take 20 shots at it today & you failed 20 times at least you learn from all of them. Even if you have to start over again, completely, at least you will be growing!

You only live once in this life! Take your shots today, you are worth taking them all, no body else can take it for you or learn for you. Don’t be scared or shy, it is your time;… just think how you would feel when you got it done or got it right!

Think of it this way; have you ever seen the face of a baby who is learning to walk?... when he takes those first few steps, smiling, laughing, it is pure joy, pure excitement! Nothing is better than that moment!

Now, that is you… You can do it!.., but you must begin at once; there is never a better moment than now! Takes those few first steps toward what ever it is that you want to achieve or do or change & remember: We are here to help; help to get you up so that you can keep on pushing forward and making great strides each time!

Taking those few first steps,... how about doing it in the right direction, or even sharing it with others who also need a helping hand to get up! Grow & Development Together!

Sadly... No person can promise you the stars & the moon

Do yourself a favour and remember those words! Remember them because you can save yourself allot of heartache and disappointment. You are still in-charge of your own ship’s sailing or sinking!... and No one said that it is going to be smooth sailing! Who wants smooth sailing all the time, not me... I get too bored! But I wouldn’t like to be caught in a storm that can cost me my live!

It is the choices a person make in life that determine that today’s sailing is going to be smooth or thunder and rain storms. Sometimes the rain storms & thunder is necessary, they do get us closer or further away from our destination….but we still learn from them. You learn that next time you will go a different route or wait until the worse is over, or get some advice…which ever way... You Can reach your destination / goal and do it more safely and with less trouble!

Don't listen to the wrong advice. If someone that has never sailed ever tells you that the weather is going to be sunny and peaceful all day at sea and you listened, only to find yourself in most disturbing weather at sea ever, almost sinking your ship,… well I would say you listened to the wrong person!

But if someone that sets sail every single day tells you that today is going to smooth sailing all day, I would rather listen to him/her because it would make sense. The same, if the person with all that experience warns you and tells you don’t go out because there is a bad storm coming… I would definitely stop to listen and make a more firm decisions from there.

It’s still your decision whether you go out or not and where it is that you are going, you set the route... No one else!...but it is nice to have a helping hand from someone that has been there in the same situation. It is not always nice to sink your ship, but if someone that has been there gives me some advice, I am going to listen.

Don’t let any person make a promise that Only you can keep or fulfil. You are still the Captain of your own Ship! J
I cant promise the stars & the moon but I can and want to help make the sailing smoother or better! … So sail over to my harbour and hook your ship onto my deck and take a walk over to my All New Web-Site for happier sailing! J
