Think of building a house from scratch.
Long before your house is constructed you have to lay a proper foundation.
The foundation will need structural re-enforcing & load bearing footings
& walls for support.
You will need to prepare your site, ground and establish if the soil, ground and
surroundings are fit to build a house on. Alternately you will have
unexpected & expensive repairs to be done…

Late" - To change your life

Causes of foundation failures
There can be quite a few causes of
foundation failures, namely.
- Poor site preparation
- Poor ground preparation
- Poor soil
- Poor products
- Poor builder
- Poor management
- Poor planning
So just the same, you have to ensure...
...that your preparation for laying a
proper foundation for positive change is done correctly so that you are able
to handle the load ahead, stand firmly, and make the transformation process
easier yet effective to progress & succeed at any given goal.
Without a proper foundation you will
struggle to succeed.
People, situations, our surrounding,
(MEDIA is a big one) influence us on how we choose
to think, act and behave.
Everything and everyone, be it our current
situation, direct or indirectly (environment, the media, teachers, kids from
school, parents, family, friends and YOU) all have a hand in our molding, in
how we ultimately turn out to be, think or act.
And ultimately if we are going to be
successful or reach a very important goal. Be it by choice, circumstance or
even unforeseen circumstance.
It determines,
- What and how we see ourselves
- How we see mistakes or failures
- Our current state of mind
- What we do and how we do it
- Where we are, were we are going and how we are going to get there, and if we are going to get there at all
- How see the world and the people around us
“All to often, depression and anxiety is a result of false expectations of what life “should” be.” Mike Brescia
How we think life should be for us, even though we are not willing to work for it. We think we
deserve to have that job, big house, new car, that body, those
clothes, that guy; because everybody else has it, why can’t we?
Media has a big hand in this of
course! How we feel, act & what we belief!
And of course we are not willing to give
up our comfit zone, but we want to moan about the BS in our lives.
Never noticing it, all because we are scared.
- Scared to change
- Scared to put in a little effort
- Scared to sacrifice.
- Scared to say no, enough is enough
- Scared to quit unhealthy habits
- Scared to fail or make a mistake
- Scared to succeed
Basically because this is all we know, all we
are use to... We are in our comfort zone, and all the BS, we have learned to
deal with it, meaning take the pain without changing anything... Why should we,
it doesn’t
hurt that much! Or does it?
Sometimes the pain
we know is more comfortable than the pain we don’t know... even if the reasons
are good!
Change, as good as
it might sound, is often uncomfortable. Anything that we are not familiar with creates fear. So we will
rather stick to what we do know, even if it means the same old BS, we will
rather sit on that nail than face the change.
Unless, sometimes we
are forced to change our lives due to a threatening situation. Sad to say but
this is what we all do. You will only get off the nail if it hurts bad
enough. Change, I’m sorry to say this, you have to want it bad enough.
It takes,
- Determination,
- Accepting new responsibilities daily
- Planning
- Accepting that mistakes & failures are temporally
- It takes constant focus,
- A lot of effort and self-sacrifice
- Faith and willpower
- And belief that you can do it.
Quoting Brian Tracy
"You are the architect of your
own destiny; you are the master of your own fate; you are behind the steering
wheel of your life. There are no limitations to what you can do, have, or be.
Except the limitations you place on yourself by your own thinking.”
Change is different
for everybody. Change is a process so there is no quick way, no
“big bang” or “poof” one-stop solution to fix it all. Changed is always
happening, it is more like a transformation in stages.
Eliminate anything
that activates old habits and stay focused and practice new habits
constantly.
The following chapters
throughout this eBook will guide you and help you make change a whole lot
easier. More importantly the associated tools & resources will help you
get there faster, in less time, with less
effort…
Preparing to build a strong
foundation
- Improve your minute-to-minute thoughts
- Seeing failures & mistakes as stepping-stones
- Past & present experiences – Use them, don’t loose them
- Being grateful for much
- Characteristics that leads to a more balanced & simpler life
- Move to action, fast & effective
The above steps are the most critical to the change you need, without
them you will NOT be able to change your habits or likely succeed!
But with them you are already half way there.
Change is all about creating a new path,
new thoughts, new habits and new beliefs. One-step, and one day at a time.
Ask any successful
person; they tell you that the secret to success is “Action”
So the secret to
creating new habits is also “Action”
Start by doing a
little each and every day, with out stopping, creates positive change. It doesn’t matter how slow you go, as long as you don’t stop.
Sylvester Stallone – Rocky 5
“Life is not all sunshine & rainbows. It’s a very mean &
nasty place. I don’t care how tough you are, it will beat you to your knees & keep
you there permanently if you let it. You, me or nobody is going to hit as hard
as life. But it aint how hard you hit, it’s about how hard you
can get hit & keep moving forward. How much you can take & keep moving
forward. That’s how winning is done. Now if you know what you’re worth get out there
& get what you’re worth, but you got to be willing to take the hits & not point
fingers and say, you aint where you got to be because of him, her or anybody,
cowards do that, and that’s not you. You are better than that!”
“Just like a boxer... You can’t become a boxer
if you don’t want to hit in the face. You have to accept that you are going to
get a lot of hits in the face. All part of the parcel” - Mario Brown – Internet
Marketer Of The Year 2012
Change isn’t nice, it
is uncomfortable, difficult at times and it is hard work but has HUGE benefits
in the end! You can’t want to change if you are not willing to,
- Take the hits
- Have unstoppable determination,
- Will power,
- Constant focus,
- A lot of effort.
- Self-sacrifice
- Faith
- And belief that you can do it.
