Do yourself a
favour and remember those words! Remember them because you can save
yourself allot of heartache and disappointment. You are
still in-charge of your own ship’s sailing or sinking!... and No one
said that it is going to be smooth sailing! Who wants smooth sailing all the
time, not me... I get too bored! But I wouldn’t like to be caught in a storm
that can cost me my live!
It is the choices
a person make in life that determine that today’s
sailing is going to be smooth or thunder and rain storms. Sometimes the rain storms &
thunder is necessary, they do get us closer or further away from our
destination….but we still learn from them. You learn that next time you will
go a different route or wait until the worse is over, or get some
advice…which ever way... You Can reach
your destination / goal and do it more safely and with less trouble!
Don't listen
to the wrong advice. If someone that has never sailed ever tells you that the weather is going to
be sunny and peaceful all day at sea and you listened, only to find yourself in
most disturbing weather at sea ever, almost sinking your ship,… well I would say you listened
to the wrong person!
But if someone
that sets sail every single day tells you that today is going to smooth sailing
all day, I would rather listen to him/her because it would make sense. The
same, if the person with all that experience warns you and tells you don’t go
out because there is a bad storm coming… I would definitely stop to listen and
make a more firm decisions from there.
It’s still your
decision whether you go out or not and where it is that you are going, you set
the route... No one else!...but it is nice to have a helping hand from someone
that has been there in the same situation. It is not always nice to sink your
ship, but if someone that has been there gives me some advice, I am going to
listen.
Don’t let any
person make a promise that Only you can keep or fulfil. You are still the
Captain of your own Ship! J
I cant promise
the stars & the moon but I can and want to help make the sailing smoother
or better! … So sail over to my harbour and hook your ship onto my deck and
take a walk over to my All New Web-Site for happier sailing! J
